Let Everything That Has Breath......

Isn't this the most beautiful picture? I don't mean because I took it, I mean the beauty of living and loving life? Maggi just seems to be so happy! I love the expression on her face and for a 19 year old to be happy......well I don't need to say anymore. I have been trying new techniques and this is one i discovered and tried out on this picture. To be honest, this was not one of my favorites until I started messing with layers and changing some of the lighting. Hope it encourages some of you to experiment with some of your "average" photos and you might find you have a hidden treasure. I will be away for the next few days in the beautiful hill country......at my summer house on the Frio River. I see God's beauty in those river rocks and the clear cold water....This is really our first planned family get together where all of our children and grandkids will be there...well 1 grandchild and one soon to be...(in less than a month). The only bad thing....my hubby will not be able to go because he is harvesting our crops. He is a good ole' American Farmer! While I am grateful that we (he) are able to harvest, i secretly wish it would rain so he can come up! Well, its no secret anymore! LOL So friends, have a fantastic weekend and remember in all thing to "Praise the Lord!" I will check in each day to see whats happening just won't have time to post.

Word Art Freebie #1

Ok so here is my second freebie for you all. It is a Word Art that I made a while back, I posted it in the gallery but did not know how to share it with others. I hope you like it and can find a use for it. It happens to be my favorite scripture, and it was one I came to rely on when I was going through cancer 15 years ago. I am so glad that we can know that our times ARE in HIS hands and not our own! I want to use it on cards to share with freinds and family who are going through tough times. I better get busy scrapping...

LET"S GET READY TO TUMBLE.......Ok, so here it is! My very first template that I am sharing. I am so excited about the DigiScrapDepot Tumbler challenge! I hope this will inspire you to create your very own tumblers...I also want to let yall know how excited I am to be actually designing something for others to use. I love to use the talents God has given me and this is something new for me. I hope to encourage others in the Lord to step out of their comfort zones, allow Him to use you wherever He chooses. I would have never dreamed of the things He has done for me and I am excited about how he will use others. I look forward to making new friends and learning as we go....I have only been Digi Scrapbooking for about 3 months, so I still have alot to learn. I love photography and this has been a great way for me to use some of the pictures I have taken. I have several things that I am working on so please check back and take a look. I welcome your imput on what I can do to improve not only my layouts, but my blog as well. I am not sure I have eveything set up in the best way, so let me know how I can improve, after all that is what we are all trying to do, right? I see the Lords hand in so many areas of each day and I love to see how he teaches me in such simple ways. Blessings to all .......... You know I want to hear from you when you download...Lookin' for those comments! Teri

Summer Camp 2008

Maggi has been away at a youth camp this past week as a counselor. She really was blessed! I hope she was a blessing too...lol But, here is a layout I did for her to remember how good God is. She really was so glad she went and hopes to continue to work with the youth group from Rockport. This is one of my best friends son, Stratton. Maggi said that he and Trevor, one of her cousins (distant) were two of the nicest young men she had been around in a long time. If Stratton wasnt so much younger, she would be after that young man! Thank you Lord for being so real and near to her this past week. I know she felt your presence!

The Most Incredible Video I Have Ever Seen! A Must See......

This is the most inspirational video I have ever seen! I am blown away by this one man's outlook on his life and how he chooses to live. Please, if you son't do anything else, watch this video. It has changed my way of thinking. Are you convinced yet? Have I at least stirred your interest? I hope so. As we celebrate Father's Day, I just want to publicly say how much I love my Dad. Yes, its true Dad if you are reading this....And I am so blessed to have a Godly husband who has been and continues to be, a wonderful example of a true christian for all who know him. Be sure to tell all the Dad's in your life what they mean to you! Enjoy the weekend.....maybe even go fishin' bet you think of this video if you do! Here's the link to the video...it is 9 min long, but you will wish it was longer....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glrU4JKV1SI

Summer Slump.....

Hello all..... I have been in a Summer Slump! I can't seem to get out of it. I did get to go to my daughter-in-laws baby shower. The "girl" is just a little over a month away from making her big debut! I am SO excited about having a little girl grand-baby! I also go to take Nate to Rio Frio for a few days and we had alot of fun. Now back home and trying to get things back into shape. The garden in slowing down, we have plowed up the green beans and a few other things, but still getting okra and my tomatoes are the best they have ever been. So I did something right there! I am trying to take better care of myself, starting a strict vitamin routine and doing some hormone replacement things to help me sleep better.....Hope it works. Well I am going to try to post more often....Oh, and I FINALLY got the Soccer scrapbook finished. I will try to post the compleated book here later...in the mean time...here is a pic of Nate having a ball on the Frio! Oh, to be young again. (not just young at heart) lol
