My husband is a real live American Farmer! I am so grateful to have a hard working, God loving, faithful husband. This is the time of the year that we harvest our crops and I have been taking pictures of him harvesting our grain sorghum. Talk about big boy toys! He has to depend on the grace of God and trust in him for everything he does. He has no control over the rain, or lack thereof, and God has been faithful, as promised. I have been wanting to do a Word Art with this scripture. I like how it kinda looks like a crown, don't you think?
Here is my question? I was wondering what yall (texas talk) are doing with my Word Art? I plan on making cards with most of them but I have made a journaling notebook cover with the Psalms 31 I made. I will post a picture of it, and instructions on how I made it. Anyway, if you will, take a minute and post a comment on what you are using it for, or even better email you layouts and I will post them on my blog! Here is the scripture that was the inspiration for my design.
"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their Synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest" (Matthew 9:35-38 KJV)

I am constantly telling myself that "My times are in Your hands, Lord" I am very bad, my blog is have done, but you can check it out at neldacnm.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeletethanks so much Terri for your WONDERFUL blog. I too love to use the Lord's word in my art. I plan to use your beautiful work in my layouts.. right now I am just collecting. :) I like to do some digital designs myself and I put scripture in somewhere. I believe we need to share the word in everything. God bless.
