Isn't this the most beautiful picture? I don't mean because I took it, I mean the beauty of living and loving life? Maggi just seems to be so happy! I love the expression on her face and for a 19 year old to be happy......well I don't need to say anymore. I have been trying new techniques and this is one i discovered and tried out on this picture. To be honest, this was not one of my favorites until I started messing with layers and changing some of the lighting. Hope it encourages some of you to experiment with some of your "average" photos and you might find you have a hidden treasure. I will be away for the next few days in the beautiful hill country......at my summer house on the Frio River. I see God's beauty in those river rocks and the clear cold water....This is really our first planned family get together where all of our children and grandkids will be there...well 1 grandchild and one soon to be...(in less than a month). The only bad thing....my hubby will not be able to go because he is harvesting our crops. He is a good ole' American Farmer! While I am grateful that we (he) are able to harvest, i secretly wish it would rain so he can come up! Well, its no secret anymore! LOL So friends, have a fantastic weekend and remember in all thing to "Praise the Lord!" I will check in each day to see whats happening just won't have time to post.

Teri, I just discovered your blog and I'm a hobby photographer - this is a stunning picture, and your editing is amazing. What a wonderful "page" you've created with the scripture!
