"Hybrid Project Reveal" 8.5 x 11 Template #1

I wanted to show you one of the first things I made when I started digi-scrapping! I wanted to use the word art that I had created and I also needed a prayer journal for our new Bible Study at our church. Well, I scraplifted a design from Shabby Princess "Shabby Mommy' kit and used this basic template I made and added the word art to the larger grey area. I measured the cover of a notebook and made my template that size. To make the edges blend better, after I trimmed it the best I could, I actually used a nail file to smooth the edges. I looked for a notebook that did not have a spiral binding so I could just glue it to the cover. I then cut a strip of paper from a paper sack, of all things, to glue over the binding. I am not sure I needed to do that but I wanted it to kinda look shabby chic....so then I used a foam brush and put 2 coats of modge podge over the papers to "varnish" the outside. Voila! Finished... I am sharing the template today and hope to see what you make with it. Blessings, Teri

Fruit of the Spirit WordArt

As promiced, here is the Fruits of the Spirit wordart. I love how it turned out. I want to show you what I have done with some of my wordart. I will try to get a post tomorrow, about it. I made prayer journals. Anyway, you will see. So, the fruits are all gone, but I am going to start working on an Outdoor Theme for the summer, camping, fishing, swimming...so check back. I am blown away at the downloads on the princess overlay! Lot's of little princess's out there! I am so glad that so many of you can use it! Well my daughter is home sick today so will keep this short and sweet! Baskets of Blessings for all of your fruit, Teri

Self-Control.... the last of the Fruits of the Spirit

Self-Control - Noun
the ability to control one's feelings, emotions, or reactions. This is the dictionary defination of self-control. I understand it, I struggle with it. I really think that for me, it needs to be God-Control. You see, I don't want me to be in control. I've tried that, some times still do, and it is not a pretty thing! I am so much happier, friendlier, "fruit-ful" and usable by God, when I am under His control. The problem for me is staying under His-Control. The key is constant submission to the Holy Spirit. That "S" word.....agh.... thats the kicker for me. I like control, so it is a struggle. I have been so blessed just doing these simple overlays, and I look forward to seeing what God has designed for me to share! Hrhmmmm, I can't keep it a secret! Tommorow, you will get a wonderful Wordart with the Fruits of the Spirit! Blessing and Grace, Teri

Anyone with a Calendar template for 2009?

I am looking for a template to make some calendars for 2009. I want a place to add a scrapbooking layout. I would prefer it to be 8 1/2 x 11. Any help would be so appreciated! It just might show up as a freebie....wink wink... :0) I would like it to be a free download if possible. With the month, and days of the week.......blank area on top so I can design something there......thanks in advance. Teri

Only 2 more pieces of Fruit left to go

Well there are only 2 pieces left of the Fruits of the Spirit overlays. Today's is PEACE. When I think of peace, I have to remember that Jesus said, "I am leaving you at peace. I am giving you my own peace. I am not giving it to you as the world gives. So don't let your hearts be troubled, and don't be afraid." John 14:27 The peace that he is talking about is not a feeling, it is a place of being. Jesus is giving us His peace. Think of how is must have been to be totally at peace with God. Settled, assured, secure...isn't that great? We all want Peace, but this is a personal peace that will withstand anything that comes your way. NO matter what. I personally have experienced his peace in the midst of severe trials, and I am thankful for his presence. Now, do I always have this peace? Unfortunately, no. It is always available to me, I just don't walk in it. I am going to miss my daily piece of fruit when this is over, I need to have it in front of me so that I will remember how good it is! "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!" Psalm 34:8 Till tommorow..... His, Teri

For those who have both a Princess and a Prince

I thought that it would be nice for all of you who have both a Prince and a Princess to be able to use these side by side. So, I switched the crown on the Prince to the right side. You can still download the original layout, you just have the choice of which one you want to use, maybe you have 2 Princes in your life!

The Princess has arrived!

Isn't she lovely? Isn't she beautiful....Yes she is! We are so proud of our new granddaughter! She is fit for a crown, don't you think? Enjoying each memory, Teri

All you gotta do is Click the Preview!

Just want to make sure you get the message. All you gotta do is click on the preview to get to the 4 shared link!

Every little Princess needs a Prince Charming

Ok, I had to make this for all the Prince Charmings out there! The Princess overlay has been so popular i figured there had to be a need for a Prince too! I was thinking that it might be good to do this with the crown on the opposite side, so if you wanted to do a layout with both, they would kinda match. What do yall think? I will do it if I get 10 comments...today saying you want it the other way too! I hope you enjoy, got lots to do today, so not much info on the post. Have a great weekend! Grace for today.... His, Teri
Bet you are wondering where the link is? Well I got a little smarter today and now, all you have to do is click on the preview to get the link! Is this better? Let me know if you would rather have a click "here" to get to the link. I kinda like it simple, so it looks cleaner to just click the preview!

Welcome to our world, Michaela.....

The day has finally come, our first granddaughter arrrives! We are so blessed to have a grandson living close to us and now, to have a grandaughter too! It just can't get any better. We leave in about 6 hours to go see her for the first time. My prayer is that we will be the best grandparents we can possibly be to her and her BIG brother. We want to show Christ to them in the way we live our lives before them. I look forward to holding her and singing to her ( I love to sing ) and just wasting away hours enjoying the fact that our son and daughter-in-law have a new blessed addition to their already perfect family! Thank you Lord, for the gift of life. May we never forget that children are a gift from God! So, since God has given us a special gift today, I have one for you too. I made this several weeks ago and wanted to wait until today to post it on my blog. I bought her a little outfit for a shower gift and on that outfit was the saying " If the Tiara fits..." well I am sure it will. I plan on using this on something I make for her in the near future. I hope you can find a use for this.... and if the Tiara fits.....wear it!

Please, take time to answer the Poll on DSD

My friend Vicky at Digiscrapdepot was gracious enough to let me, a new designer, create the template for her July Starbucks Tumbler Challenge. I have had over 400 downloads for that template, which blows me away. I want to thank you if you downloaded it, for it really was the beginning of me breaking into creating these freebies. But, here is the deal. Only about 6 have entered the challenge over there at http://www.digiscrapdepot.com . She and I both want to continue next month with another challenge, but are a little stumped as to why not too many have entered the challenge. So, first of all, please enter if you want to. I really would like to see this thing move forward and second, and really most important, go over to DSD ( digiscrapdepot ) and go to the forums and respond to the poll. I would be grateful if you would do this. We want it to be something fun and that many will choose to do, so voice your opinion and we can go from there. If you want this template, I am going to repost the link below.
Here is the link reposted if you are interested:

"Be Patient, be patient, don't be in such a hurry"

OK now here is another piece of fruit that is hard for me to swallow sometimes. I want it and I want it now, is more my style. But, I know that this fruit is one, that if we can achieve it, is wonderful. Wouldn't it be nice to have more patience with your loved ones? I know for me it would be. Not only being more patient with others, but showing patience when waiting on the Lord. Again, I want it ( answers to prayers ) and I want them now! But, we know that love is patient. He (God) was patiently waiting for me to come to him, and I am forever grateful. I love the scripture from I Corinthians 13:4, that tell us that "Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant." This was one of the scriptures that was read at my mom's funeral. She was an example of this scripture. I have to tell you a funny, but true story. When I think of this, I remember something my husband has said about me. He would say, when we married, he hoped that I would be like my mom, BUT I am more like my dad! Let's just say, I am not always as patient and kind as I should, and could be. Again, I am working on it! He still loves me though. So as I patiently wait for tommorow, I will try to be more like you, mom. You gals will have an opportuinity to show some patience with me because you will have to wait a day or two for the rest of the fruits! Remember, practice makes perfect. So practice some patience today. Enjoy!

Here is your Patience:

A little Princess is on her way!

I made this for my 1st granddaughter who will be arriving in the morning! Since I couldnt use her picture for the preview, I looked for the next in line for the crown, and that would be my 10 year old yorkie, Brighton. She wear's it well, don't you think? I will do a few more with the "diva" theme. Keep checking back to see what I have in my bag of goodies! I also want to thank each of you for your encouraging words. It really means a lot to me to hear how you are going to use some of my things. And to know that you are enjoying them is such a blessing to me. I will continue to do the word overlays in .png unless stated. So for the most part, you png'ers will get them also. Gonna be busy around here for the next few days so if I dont post as often you will understand why, right? Hugging and Kissing that sweet grand-baby! Grace and Blessing to you all.....Teri

My little piece of heaven....and "Hello Dolly"

I just wanted to share a little about where I have been the past few days. This is up by our house in in the hill country near Garner Park. I love the beauty of the hills and the cool spring water. There are all kinds of wildlife, axis deer, whitetail, hummingbirds, exotic animals, bats at night and...oh yeah, and people too! It has become a very popular place to vacation. People love to float the river on tubes and just hang out in the water. My brother-in-law developed a sub division out there called "the Ranch" and we love to swim there. That is where the pics of the river are taken. I just wanted to let you see another piece of my life. I actually bought this place when I closed my store ( I owned a retail boutique ) for 15 years. The house is special to me because I furnished it with things from my store. So, now on to Dolly. Hurricane Dolly hit land about 85 miles south of us. We are fine, lots of rain and wind, but overall not too eventful here. We have good friends who live in Rio Hondo and that is where the eye went over. They are fine but said no electricity, and i think at least 20 inches of rain so far! Thank the Lord,,we didnt get anything like that here because it would have ruined Tom's cotton crop. Anyway...look later on for your next goodie.

How about a little Love today?

" What the world needs now, is love, sweet love....." remember? Well it really is true. It is a fruit of the Spirit we all need more of. If we (I) could love others like Christ himself loves others, our homes would be far better off than they are today. Like I said a few days ago, yall are just getting to eavesdrop remember, so I am not pretending to "have arrived". Far from it. I am selfish, more than I want to admit, and don't always think of others before me. But, like I also mentioned, I am striving to grow. That is the key, desire plus action. Like exercising, it is not something we like to do, but it is a good thing to do. Do you have a friend, neighbor, boss, employee or child that needs to experience God's love? I bet you do. Today, try to see them as Christ sees them, and let Him, love Them, through You. Now, don't worry if you can't do this, because neither can I. Thats why we are gonna let Him do it! 2 MORE DAYS UNTIL MY GRANDAUGHTER ARRIVES! SO THAT MEANS A SPECAIL FREEBIE TOMMOROW!!!! Lot's of Love today, Teri

Pass me some more fruit, please. And a little goodie too!

How about a little Kindness this morning? I will take some for sure. Thinking about yesterdays post, I had a comment from a really nice lady who said, she likes to try to, instead of saying, "why me, Lord?" she tries to ask "HOW, Lord?" How can I use this for your glory! I love that. I thought about it several times yesterday. I am going to try to look at things like that. Thank you for sharing that with me, whoever you are! My Vacation overlay has been very popular, so for all you gals who go on holiday, this one is for you! I hope you like it! And just a little hint, this will not be the last time you see this. So, you will just have to guess what I have in mind with this for a few more days. I just want to say thanks to all of you who comment, it really is an encouragement! Have a day full of Kindness, and pass the fruit bowl to others! His, Teri

Fruit of the Spirit #4 and a challenge for us all!

"My brothers and sisters, be very happy when you are tested in different ways." James 1:2 Now, isnt that what you wanted to hear? Well, me neither. In fact, as I reflect on what I am going to blog on.....the Lord usually show me something I need to work on and you guys just get to eavesdrop on how God is speaking to me. So, yes, I need to learn how to, WHEN I AM TESTED in different way, to be very happy, or consider it pure joy. I have not arrived, I am sorry to say. But you know what, it is my desire to grow spiritally, so I know I am headed in the right direction. So today, yep, I said today, WHEN you ARE tested, think about me, say a prayer for us both and keep your eyes on the Lord. Together, we are gonna grow.
Step right up and get your JOY here:

"Goodness" me! #3 in the Fruit of the Spirit Overlays

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." Psalms 23:6 Now you tell me who wouldn't want goodness and mercy to follow them, right? I know I do. And talk about goodness! Here I am up in the beautiful hill country of Texas and if that's not goodness I don't know what is. I live in south Texas and that is FLAT land. My husband farms, so I know we need that flat land, but not much on the beauty side. But, here at our other house............well surrounded by hills, hummingbirds, the cool Frio River, ah...peace and beauty! Ok so I want to share some goodness with you today! Here is the 3rd in the series. I am making another series I will most likely interject in between, its outdoors! Maybe tomorrow? Have a "good" day. Blessings and Grace to all...............

New Word Art and more Fruit and a Blessing too!

Well I had a wonderful anniversary. And now, back to the real world. When I got home and hubby went to bed, I came and checked my email. I found this beautiful blessing layout that a lady, Sue Peart, had sent me from Australia. I was AMAZED! Isn't is wonderful? I am so glad she shared it with me. I emailed her and asked if I could put it on y blog and she graciously agreed. I hope it inspires you as much as it did me. I love the simplicity of the white backgrounds, but this is equally nice. I am going to give you guys another "piece of fruit" and the next word art I have ready to go. I saw this on a sign and loved it! I am going out of town for a few days to our house in the Texas hill country....ahhhhh I can feel the Frio River now...but I will post something when I go to the little library a few miles up the road. I may be slower in responding to emails, so be patient with me. Thanks again Sue for sharing your beautiful layout! Have a great weekend and enjoy your family and friends. His, Teri

.PNG users READ THIS !

I had some requests for these in the .png format along with the .psd format. I want to make sure that there is enough interest in the .png format to continue to make them available. If I just did the .psd I could make them over twice as fast and get more out. I will make them in hte .png for a few more times unless I get ample comments letting me know several of you need the .png or else it just isnt worth it for me. So, heres the deal...if you want them in .png then I need to here from you. I hope you understand my position, I do this for fun, and love to share, and want to share as many as I can. I have had so many requests and want to do them as soon as I can. Take care, and have a great weekend. Enjoy life each day. His, Teri

Happy Anniversary to me! Well, and to my husband too! 32 years! God has seen us through very tough times... and I am here to tell you HE IS FAITHFUL! Tom and I have been faithful to each other, standing beside each other during cancer, death, horrible attacks on our faith. So many people who pass through our lives just see the happy family. But without going into detail, we have been touched by almost every type of arrrow that Satan can hurl.........except...we are still standing! If you are reading this today and thinking, well she hasn't had that happen, well you ever know. I just want to encourage others to trust in the Lord to get you through those hard times. I am having so much fun with these overlays. But tommorow, it will be a word art. So for you word art ladies, one is hot off the press! I have compleated the Fruits of the Spirit series, so will most likely do outdoor theme next, since we are in the midst of summer and camping season. I will make them as long as there is traffic on my downloads. When the traffic slows down, I will know its time to move on. Thats fair right? I also have a small question for you smart ladies. How do you organize your scrapbook kits? I use PSE6 and am beginning to put them into my organizer, tagging them with diffferent titles and such. But I have about come to the conclusion that I am going to just add them, and tag the previews, and themes and designers, and as I used them, then go to more detail. I will never get them done if I follow Patty Debowski's step by step program and tag every single paper, element and all. Ok, sorry I got so long winded. Here are the next two overlays.

Ok Ladies...............I get it... you want my fonts!

I am truly overwhelmed! I am amazed at how many downloads there have been for these overlays. I am so happy to create something that seems to be really in demand. I am making them as fast as I can.... I still have some word art to share...I cant wait for one, but it is not next in line.....maybe on a special day like the birth of my 1st granddaughter, which will be on the 25 if all goes as planned? Hint Hint.....So back to the fonts. For the bold lettering under the blackframe, i use Franklin Gothic Heavy and for the little script hand writing font, i use Digs My Heart. If you dont have it I think i got it from DaFont. I do have to switch if I need a colon to engravers. You have to play with the sizes according to the word. I hope this answers your questions. Also, as I said before, Pam at Digitreats has done some she is selling so I will try not to duplicate, except for the LOVE, becasuse how can we have the fruits of the Spirit without love. I did let her know that would be the exception. If you are interested in seeing which words she has done, go to her blog and click on purchase where she is talking about her frames, and it will give you a list of the ones she has done. That way, you will know that I will not be doing those names. I am thanking God right now for all his blessings that are flowing my way. The greatest of which is my wonderful husband, whom we will be celebrating our 32 anniversary tommorow! He is a wonderful husband and a great father. A true christian witness in a world that needs to see Christ in our daily lives.

Overlay # 3 and I'll tell you what's next!

Here is the "Grad" overlay I did. I have so many ideas on which way to go with these. I did talk to Pam over at Digitreats and she is offering 66 of these types of frames for sell in a Kit. I told he I did not want to step on her toes, so I will try not to offer ones she is selling. She also has a great tutorial on how to make you own if you want to check it out @ digitreats.typepad.com . But this is what I have decided to do next with these cute frames............are you ready? The fruits of the Spirit! Isn't that a great idea? I actually didn't come up with it on my own. My friend over at Digiscrapdepot, Vicky did! She is so smart! A big thank you to her for her encouragement to me! She is also my late night chat buddie! I will work on those today, get as many made as I can and get them out to yall as soon as I can....keep giving me ideas, I may pick another theme after I finish the fruits of the Spirit, unless people get tired of them...I hope not, I think they make a great quick layout and one that would be appreciated as a gift to freinds and family. I have bought 8 x 8 frames at our local dollar tree or dollar store, maybe both. They are actually perfect for 8 x 8 layouts. I think I had to adjust the frame to 7.75x7.75 to get them to fit perfectly. The frames are mostly white or black, brown. Go see if you can find some.....Great price at only a buck a piece!

Blessed Overlay

Here is #2... A big thank you to Lynn's for her suggestion. I just had to try one more! Keep those suggestions comming. I like to leave the photo showing thru on the wording most of the time, but as you can tell on this preview, i cropped it photo so that the word BLESSED would be in black. I have left the journaling where it can be edited if you dont like the wording. I really think this one turned out cute!

Ok, I seriously need help. I have become a scraplifter!

I saw this on Digitreats blog and I thought it was so cute! Then my mind started doing what it always does and I couldn't help myself, I did it! I scraplifted. There, I admited it. They say that is the first thing to do if you want help, right? LOL Really, I have several in mind to create now, so if you like these, check back...........I would love for you to email me with some title names and I will try do do as many as I can. Right off the bat, I think of Friends, Family, Grandma, Grampa, Brothers, Sisters, etc. I can think of Camping, Hunting, Fishing...Vote and the one with the most votes will be next! If I make them, you will come, right? Now go grab some on your favorite vacation photo's and start scrappin! I can see these done so many ways. Email me your layouts and I will post them on my blog. Lord of the Harvest and a Question?

My husband is a real live American Farmer! I am so grateful to have a hard working, God loving, faithful husband. This is the time of the year that we harvest our crops and I have been taking pictures of him harvesting our grain sorghum. Talk about big boy toys! He has to depend on the grace of God and trust in him for everything he does. He has no control over the rain, or lack thereof, and God has been faithful, as promised. I have been wanting to do a Word Art with this scripture. I like how it kinda looks like a crown, don't you think?

Here is my question? I was wondering what yall (texas talk) are doing with my Word Art? I plan on making cards with most of them but I have made a journaling notebook cover with the Psalms 31 I made. I will post a picture of it, and instructions on how I made it. Anyway, if you will, take a minute and post a comment on what you are using it for, or even better email you layouts and I will post them on my blog! Here is the scripture that was the inspiration for my design.

"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their Synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest" (Matthew 9:35-38 KJV)

I Don't Like Spiders (except Charlotte ) and Snakes.... A lesson from Matthew 10:16

Do y'all remember that song? I sure do. My mind works that way, I see a picture and then I hear a song. For several days I had been seeing this beauty out on my breezeway at night! The first time was about midnight and I couldn't sleep, so I was getting something out of my car. Well, you can imagine my surprise when I opened the door and there he was slithering on our breezeway! Yuck! And to make matters worse, he was close to the door I needed to get through to get to my car. I could just see that thing falling on my when I walked through the door. So after seeing him several times, btw, he was not poisonous, Tom decided we needed to re-locate him! He is a real live "Crocodile Dundee". So, before we can do that, I want to get a few more pics of him. Big mistake. We knew he was coming around because we have several baby birds nesting on our porch overhang. That's what he had on his dinner menu, I'm sure. We had about 75 purple martins that left their house prematurely because of something, and I think he was the something! So I wanted to get those pictures of him and while I was at it, the 4 babies in the nest around the corner where he was headed. Well, the flash scared the babies ( I took about 4 pictures before it did ) so 2 flew out, and we had heck getting those babies to stay in the nest again. We had to turn out all the lights, all the while this sneaky snake was still up on the wall. Got one back in and never could get the other one.....they were just beginning to fly, so hopefully it just landed in a tree until morning. But then, the snake falls off the wall.........slithers out in the grass and Tom steps on its head so he can catch it! Do y'all have this much excitement around your house? Well I go to get something to put it in and when I come back, well I couldn't help but want to get 1 or 2 more pictures of it. So Tom moves his foot and lets me snap a few more photos and then.........well he ( the snake ) snaps his camera ( his mouth ) and gets Tom on the finger! I asked Tom if he was sure it was not poisonous and he said he would not be messing around with it if it was........Well at least he has some sense right? So, we get him in the crate and Tom hauls him to his new undisclosed location......well it was only about 2 miles away where he is free to roam around out in the wild. Hope he can't find his way back home. Tom by the way is fine. I will wait till another post to tell you about "Charlotte" our spider. Who needs to go to a zoo? My life is a zoo! LOL

OK, now I want to tell you what we are learning on Sundays at church. This all ties in...I promise. We are in the gospel of Matthew 10:16. "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves; therefore be shrewd as serpents; and innocent as doves. In this world we as Christians are called to take the message of the gospel out into our world. This is where ever God has placed you. It may be neighbors, friends, family or the person who checks you out at the grocery store. Wherever that is, be wise (shrewd) and creative ( like this snake was in getting what he wanted ) but gentle ( like those little baby birds ). If you ask the Lord to help you be a witness (disciple) for Him he will show you! Look how he spoke to me! Blessings and Grace for today!

For This Child I Prayed

Today was a great day! I finally learned what my soon to be "1st" grandaughters name will be. Michaela Annette Mayo and she will be called "Annie" I love it! My daughter-in-laws grandmothers name was Annette and my mothers name was Ann. My dad fondly called my mom "Annie Belle". I think it is a great way to honor both her great grand-mothers! As soon as I heard her name, i thought of this scripture from 1 Samuel 1:27 and I wanted to create a word art to use for something for her! I hope others will find a use for it too! Sorry about the pink, but I couldnt help myself. It should be easily converted to what ever color you choose. Blessings and Grace for today!
Come and get it here:

Here is the Yankee Doodle Dandy Quick Page in .png. I think I have one more to re-do and then I will be set! Sorry if this is confusing anyone. I saved the first one in .jpg and realized later that was not the best format. That darn learning curve is getting to me! lol

I am going to re-post a couple of my freebies because I did not save them in a .png file. I understand this is better for most of you to use. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you gals that I am absolutley blown away at how many of you like what I have done. It is such an incouragement to me. If you will allow me a minute of your time to tell you alittle more about me. My mother died of cancer at the young age of 47 and I too, had breast cancer at 35! Before I knew I had cancer I was talking to the Lord one day and I remember it like it was yesterday.... I said that whatever it took.... I wanted to be used by Him. I wanted my life to count for Him. My mom became a Christian through her cancer and what a testamony to my and my husband. I was 20 and she told me one day (when she was in an incredible amount of pain) that if that is what it took for her to know the Lord she would go through it all again. Whew....what an example she was to me. I knew when I lost my hair that my hair was not who I was and losing my breast...well that was not who I was either. I did just 2 years ago have reconstructive surgery. That will have to be another post, but my point is this... I still want to be used by my Lord. I am so happy to be alive and while I would not ask to have cancer again, I am a better person for it. And this verse, (bet you never thought I would get to why I am telling you guys all this...lol) was one that I trusted in then, and still is my life verse! So enjoy and encourage others with it! Blessing and Grace for today, Teri

The Many Faces of Nate

I was reflecting on our weekend with the family a few weeks ago and ran across this layout which had a magizine look to it. I thought it would be perfect to show off some of Nate's antics. He is so silly! And talk about funny faces, well he is full of them. I like how it turned out, but still struggle alittle with the journaling part. I hope it will help all of us to remember not to take life too seriously and to enjoy the little things in life like press on tatoo's and sleeping out under the beautiful stars. Isn't our creator God amazing? I mean to be able to not only create the world but to hold it all together! And arent we blessed that he does? And the springs of cool water that come bursting up from the ground, well it is just a refreshing thought for sure on these hot summer days. Blessing to all....

My First Quick Page

Here is a Ouick Page that I made from the 4th of July page I did of my family. I used Coralee Evans aka MZcora "Pimp Your Scrapbook" kit for and Becky Wallace's "Memorial Day" for the fireworks! I used this format and made me a tumbler! I got the name because my hubbies birthday is 4th of July, and he is for sure a "Yankee Doodle Dandy"! At least I think he is. Leave me any comments on how I can inprove, since I am still on the learning curve!

So here is my family last week while we were up on the Frio River. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July. It is also Tom's ( my hubbies ) birthday! He is a "Yankee Doodle Dandy" for sure! As we celebrate with our loved ones today, let us remember all our brave soldiers overseas and at home who are serving our country to keep it the "Land of the Free, and the Home of the Brave" I know they are in the thoughts and prayers of many.
